Triangulated Irregular Network (TIN) 2

Triangulated Irregular Network (TIN) 2 : A TIN is a method for the creation of a digital elevation model from point values in a vector data model. The TIN is formed by an arbitrarily distribution of points which are linked to triangles. Each point dispose of one x- and y-coordinate and one or more attributes (e.g. height). Attribute values for the attributes can be interpolated on an arbitrary position of the model
