Tripartite Cooperation Bodies : Tripartite discussion forums aimed at ensuring that the competent public authorities seek the views, advice and assistance of employers' and workers' organizations in an appropriate manner. Cooperation bodies differ from consultation bodies in that they intervene at the implementation stages of national labour and employment policy. These bodies have specific executive functions. Examples might include an Economic and Social Council, established under the constitution or the law to review and advice on proposed legislation
