Typical Data

Typical Data : (ICT) A computer program term. When debugging software it is normal to feed the software routines being written with a set of 'typical data'. This data is within the expected range of inputs to the software. For example a programmer might have written a routine to sort letters A-Z. So the 'typical data' would be the letters A-Z.
