Unified Effort is the combination and integration of Federal, State, local, and tribal governments and organizations; the private sector; and international partners operations and investments to plan, prepare, coordinate, execute, and assess those actions necessary to prevent, protect, respond, and recover from threats to the citizens, infrastructure and homeland of the United States.
