Venturi Tube 3
Venturi Tube 3 : A tube or pipe in which there is a constricted section so that a fluid flowing through it loses pressure energy which is transformed into kinetic energy, thus creating a difference in pressure between the wide part of the tube and the throat, or constricted portion. Use is made of this phenomenon in some forms of foam inductor, the foam compound being drawn into the system at the throat of the Venturi tube. See also: Venturi Meter
