Vulnerability Assessment 01 :
(1) A vulnerability assessment presents the extent of injury and damage that may result from a hazard event of a given intensity in a given area. The vulnerability assessment should address impacts of hazard events on the existing and future built environment. [FEMA 2001 (August), 7]. (2) Process for identifying physical features or operational attributes that render an entity, asset, system, network, or geographic area susceptible or exposed to hazards.
