Wavemeter
Wavemeter : An apparatus for measuring the frequency of electro-magnetic waves. The usual forms are either tuned to resonate with the signal to give a maximum reading on the wavemeter or generate oscillations which are mixed with the signal and tuned to made the heterodyne note inaudible at near zero frequency. The tuning control is usually calibrated in metres
