White-Collar Worker
White-Collar Worker : Usually non-manual workers, including office, clerical, sales, semi-technical, and professional workers. The definition also includes workers with minor supervisory functions as well as managers and administrators (salaried and self-employed). Such work can range from unskilled to semi-skilled and highly skilled. (The opposite of a white- collar worker is a blue-collar worker, employed in production using manual labour).
