World-Wide Standard Seismograph Network
World-Wide Standard Seismograph Network : A network of about 110 similarly calibrated seismograph stations that are distributed throughout the world. The network was originally established in the early 1960s, and its operation is now coordinated by the U.S. Geological Survey.
