Worst Case Planning

Worst Case Planning :

Worst-case planning is required. Planning must mesh "worst-case" considerations with an analysis of the risks involved. Emergency planners generally use "worstcase" planning for those coastal areas that are most likely to be seriously impacted by hurricane force winds and storm surge. During Hurricane Hugo, the planning horizons for the inland areas were found to be too limited Energy emergency planners must continue to include risk analysis and the likelihood of "worst-case" scenarios in the planning process to ensure a balanced view of their preparedness efforts and the potential risks involved.
