Zones for dusts : Hazardous areas are classified into zones based upon the frequency of the occurrence and the duration of an explosive dust/air mixtures, the following definitions are only applicable to equipment group II. Note 1: Layers, deposits and heaps of combustible dust may be considered and any other source which can form an explosive atmosphere. Note 2:- Normal operation means the situation when installations are used within their design parameters
