All-Risk Insurance 1 : Names given to a policy which covers against loss caused by all perils except those which are specifically excluded in the terms of the policy. This is the broadest form of coverage available, providing protection against all risks of physical loss or damage from any external cause. Does not cover loss or damage due to delay, inherent vice, pre-shipment condition, inadequate packaging, or loss of market. Ordinary policies name the peril or perils specifically covered in the policy
