Arge Arbeitsgemeinschaft : A version of the Fischer-Tropsch process, using a fixed catalyst bed. It converts synthesis gas to a mixture of gasoline, diesel fuel, and waxes. The catalyst is made by adding sodium carbonate solution to a solution of mixed iron and copper nitrates, binding the resulting precipitate with potassium silicate, and reducing it with hydrogen
