Binary 4

Binary 4 : Information contained in one of two states, either 0 (zero) or 1 (one). Digital computers are designed to respond to streams or groups of binary information. By combining and manipulating this information, these machines can be instructed to perform useful tasks. All information, whether alpha or numeric, must be converted into a binary equivalent to be processed by these systems. It forms the basis of the Binary digIT or BIT. Eight bits together form a BYTE.
