Briefings 6 : Briefings are essential to the success of emergency operations. All staff assisting with operations must be fully briefed as soon as possible and updated information must be passed to all staff on a regular basis. Key briefing information will include: (1) Situation statement. (2) What do we want to achieve (Mission Statement). (3) How we are going to achieve this (Execution). (4) What resources do we have (or need) Services and Support. (5) Who is in charge (Command, Control and Communications) . (6) Health and Safety information
