Bristol Airport (BA) : In the event of an aircraft incident tasks may include: (1) Sending an Incident Liaison Team to Silver. (2) Assistance at the Friends and Relatives Reception Centre (FRRC) and/or Survivors Reception Centre (SRC). (3) Escorting relatives and friends - Social Services. (4) Formation of Family Liaison Teams with Police and airline staff - Social Services. (5) Co-ordination of Voluntary Agencies. (6) Sending a Gold Liaison Team to Gold. (7) Provision of Environmental Health/Scientific Services advice (D&E). (8) Establishment of a temporary mortuary (D&E). For security reasons the airport may be closed at short notice, in these circumstances, NSC may be requested to assist with onward transport, overnight accommodation and emergency feeding. There may be up to 7,000 persons at any one time at the airport
