The bund wall must be fabricated out of impervious material chemically resistant against stored material, e.g., bricks/mortar or concrete may be sufficiently resistant against mineral oil but not against chlorohydrocarbons. Bunds must not contain drainage valves. Spills and rainwater must be pumped out, drummed off for disposal
