Call-out and Notification : The Emergency Management Unit maintains the corporate call-out list that enables the Senior Duty Officer (or nominated officer) to contact a representative from each directorate. Each directorate is responsible for maintaining its own contact lists and for calling-out its own staff. Contact details are available to authorised staff only. All contact information is treated as confidential. It is important to notify, early in the incident, those agencies that the authority will look to for assistance. This is likely to include neighbouring local authorities, the utilities, and voluntary agencies
