Calorimetry
Calorimetry : (Chem) An analytical method used to determine the thermal behavior of materials and reactions, such as average specific heat over a temperature range. Also called: Adiabatic Calorimetry. Note: In scanning-calorimetry, the temperature of the sample is varied at a uniform rate, while measurements are taken of heat flowing into or out of the sample.
