Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) 2 : The rules, enacted under the?Aeoronautics Act, that govern civil aviation in Canada. Replacing the?Air Regulations?and the?Air Navigation Orders,?the CARs and their associated standards came into force on October 10, 1996, after a comprehensive consultation process between Transport Canada and the aviation community.
