Biological Exposure Index 2 : The index provides a warning level of biological response to a substance or agent, or warning levels of the substance or agent or its metabolite (s) in the tissues, fluids or exhaled air of an exposed worker. This index is to be used only in conjunction with designated exposure standards or codes of practice and not as a sole method for exposure control
