Carpal Tunnel Syndrome 12 : Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is the result of the median nerve, running from the forearm to the hand, being squeezed at the wrist. This can result in burning, tingling or itching numbness in the palm of the hand and fingers. This may or may not be caused by the repeated use of vibrating hand tools. See also: RSI
