Coccidiomycosis : A fungal disease (also known as valley fever or San Joaquin Valley fever) that can affect agricultural, horticultural, construction, and any workers who disturb soil containing spores. Although most often a respiratory disease, in rare cases it can be systemic and fatal. It is trans-mitted by inhalation of dust containing spores of Coccidioides immitis
