Conciliation 1
Conciliation 1 : A method of settling disputes by the use of a third party. It is a process where a third party or conciliator enters the dispute, on the invitation of the parties, to pacify the parties in the hope that they will discuss differences in a reasonable and dispassionate manner. In most countries, the conciliator is an employee of the state, usually from the labour department. Generally, the conciliator makes no suggestions as to how the differences can be adjusted; his or her role is one of peacemaker and a facilitator for the problem-solving process
