Conciliation 4
Conciliation 4 : An extension to the bargaining process in which the parties try to reconcile their differences. A third party, acting as an intermediary - independent of the two parties - seeks to bring the disputants to a point where they can reach agreement. The conciliator has no power of enforcement and does not actively take part in the settlement process but acts as a broker, bringing people together. See: Collective bargaining; Mediation
