Condition Monitoring 1 (CM)
Condition Monitoring 1 (CM) : A maintenance process under which data on the whole population of specified items in service is analyzed to indicate whether some allocation of technical resources is required. Not a preventive maintenance process, condition monitored maintenance allows failures to occur, and relies upon analysis of operating experience information to indicate the need for appropriate action
