Continuity of Government (COG) 12
Continuity of Government (COG) 12 : Activities that address the continuance of constitutional governance. COG planning aims to preserve and/or reconstitute the institution of government and ensure that a department or agency's constitutional, legislative and/or administrative responsibilities are maintained. This is accomplished through succession of leadership, the pre-delegation of emergency authority and active command and control during response and recovery operations.
