Control Group 1


Control Group 1 :

A control group consists of those participants who have been randomly allocated to the non-intervention group. As they have been randomly allocated they can be assumed to be equivalent to the individuals in the intervention group. Therefore any changes in the two groups seen after the intervention can be said to be caused by the intervention, and not simply by individual differences between those who received the intervention, and those who did not
