Convection 02

Convection 02 : (Thermodyn; Meteor) Transfer of heat by the motion of a fluid under the influence of differences in density and gravity. In fluids, convective heat transfer is generally more rapid than conduction. See also: Heat Transfer; Benard Convection Cells. Note: Convection is Commonly A Vertical Process. A Fluid Heated At The Bottom Expands and Rises, While Cooler, Denser Fluid Above Flows Downward To Replace It. The Rate of The Convective Currents Depends on The Quantity of Heat and Difference in Temperature. Convection is An Important Weather Factor, Associated With Wind and Cloud Formation. Spontaneously Occurring Convection is Called Free Convection or Natural Convection
