Convection 27

Convection 27 : Transfer of heat by motion of a fluid. When a fire occurs in one place, the produced heat can be transferred to another place by mean of fast hot moving gases. Fire can then be initiated at other places. This effect is especially important with smoke, and it is the reason why in big places the smoke shall be released through holes in the roof before the firefighters can enter the place. See: Fire Consequences. Other fire propagation modes are Conduction and Radiation
