CORINE - Coordinated Information on the European Environment : The first recording by satellite images all over the European union was done in the framework of the CORINE Land Cover Project. The result is the coverage of the European land cover and land use basing on a uniform method and in a standardized nomenclature (44 classes in three hierarchical levels) with a minimum area size of 25 ha in the scale of 1: 100000
