Corrected Penetration Resistance
Corrected Penetration Resistance : A measure of an in-situ property of soil, important for interpreting geotechnical and seismic site response data. It is based on a penetration test, such as standard penetration test resistance; corrected for the influence of overburden pressure, hammer energy, rod length, borehole diameter, and sampler type; or cone penetration resistance, corrected for the influence overburden pressure.
