Corrective Measures Study 2 :

A step in the RCRA Subtitle C process when the owner and operator identifies and evaluates remediation alternatives at a given contaminated site. RCRA The Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) protects human health and the environment from the potential hazards of waste disposal, conserves energy and natural resources, reduces the amount of waste generated, and ensures that wastes are managed in an environmentally sound manner. Corrective Action Remediation Cleanup or other methods used to remove or contain a toxic spill or hazardous materials from a hazardous waste site. Corrective Action: EPA can require treatment, storage and disposal (TSDF) facilities handling hazardous waste to undertake corrective actions to clean up spills resulting from failure to follow hazardous waste management procedures or other mistakes. The process includes cleanup procedures designed to guide TSDFs toward in spills
