Corrosive Substances 4 : (Class 8 Dangerous Goods) Substances that, by chemical action, will cause severe damage when in contact with living tissue or will damage or destroy other goods or the vehicle in which they are transported if they leak from their packaging. Dangerous goods of Class 8 are assigned to a packing group according to the degree of danger they present: Packing Group I (high danger); Packing Group II (medium danger); Packing Group III (low danger)
