Counterterrorism Security Group (CSG) 1 : "The CSG is an interagency body convened on a regular basis to develop terrorism prevention policy and to coordinate threat response and law enforcement investigations associated with terrorism. This staff-level group evaluates various policy issues of interagency import regarding counterterrorism and makes recommendations to Cabinet and agency deputies and principals for decision. As appropriate, the chair of the National Security Council and Cabinet principals will present such policy issues to the President for decision.
