Country Groups : For export control purposes, the Bureau of Export Administration of the US Commerce Department separates countries into seven country groups designated by the symbols: Q, S, T, V, W, Y, Z Canada and Antartica are not included in any country group Canada is referred to by name throughout the Export Administration Regulations Antartica is controlled according to the country that occupies the area in Antartica where the items proposed for export or reexport will be used See: Export Control Classification Number
