Block 5 (or blocky) Lava
Block 5 (or blocky) Lava : A term sometimes applied to all lava flows with fractured surfaces and are covered with angular fragments (including aa). However, as emphasized by (Macdonald, 1972), the term is more appropriately restricted to those lava flows, which, even though similar in overall structure to aa, lack the jaggedly spinose features of aa and have fragments characterized by more regular forms (often approaching cube-like) and smoother surfaces
