Degree of Damage

Degree of Damage : The amount of fuel that is burned and consumed by a wildfire. The degree of damage sustained by a fuel can be interpreted as an indicator of a wildfire's intensity, duration and direction. The side of a fuel that faces an oncoming wildfire will usually exhibit the greatest degree of damage
