Delta Connection
Delta Connection : A method of connection used for the three windings of a piece of three-phase electrical equipment, the windings are connected in series, the three-phase supply being taken from or supplied to the junctions. The vector diagram of the current or voltage in the windings is in the form ofa triangle and the symbol A connection is therefore often used. (MF 6B)
