Dignity at Work


Dignity at Work : This refers to the right to respect, and in particular the right to freedom from sexual and other forms of harassment in the workplace. The European Union (EU) Charter of Fundamental Rights (2000) includes a section dealing with dignity. The Charter is part of the Treaty establishing a Constitution for Europe (2004). Citizens can refer to it when challenging decisions taken by EU institutions.
