Disaster Recovery Planning 2 (DRP)

Disaster Recovery Planning 2 (DRP) : "Disaster recovery planning is a term used to describe IT recovery. Some companies use different terms to include the recovery of IT systems, data, information management systems and processes, and other related systems. The disaster recovery document should describe the IT and information management systems recovery strategies. The DRP should cover detailed recovery instructions that may include references to procedures, vendor references, system diagrams, and other related recovery materials. The detailed recovery procedures must be updated when system and business processes change". (IIA, Business Continuity Management, July, 2008, p. 12)
