Disaster Risk Reduction Plans 2 : Formal documents that set out authorities' goals for disaster risk reduction together with related sequences of actions to accomplish stated objectives towards these goals. Comment: The development of such plans should be guided by the Hyogo Framework and should be considered and coordinated within respective development plans, resource allocations and activities. Disaster risk reduction plans need to be specific to each level of government responsibility, and to the different geographical circumstances. (ISDR)
