Distribution 05 : Dispersal, spreading, division into parts. In statistics, generally means frequency distribution, i. e. the manner in which the frequencies of a variable are divided up among the whole population. Normal or Gaussian distribution is the frequency distribution of many measurements occurring in nature; the curve representing this distribution is of known mathematical form and is symmetrical. Where the distribution curve is not symmetrical the data are said to have a "skew" distribution
