Electric Field
Electric Field : Region in which forces are exerted on any electric charge present. (Chambers). Electric field intensity or strength. An electric field is a vector field. The magnitude of the vector is the electric field strength and the direction of the vector is parallel to the lines of force. Electric light. Light produced by the heating effect of an electric current as in a filament lamp, or by electric discharge, as in a gas-discharge lamp or arc lamp.
