Fire Grading 1
Fire Grading 1 : (1) The assignment to various elements of structure of a building, grades of fire resistance, as defined in BS 476 (or equivalent specifications in other countries), appropriate to the fire hazard arising from the occupancy, and according to the height, floor area, or cubic capacity of the building. (2) The investigation and assigning of suitable fire precautions of any kind to attain an adequate standard of safety, according to the fire hazard of the building under consideration
