Fire Load 01
Fire Load 01 : (Build) A measure of the heat that could be liberated during a fire in a given fire area or other building space, derived from the calorific potential of the fuel load. Fire load and fuel load contribute to fire severity and fire duration. Note: The NFPA Fire Protection Handbook uses "fire load" as the preferred synonym of "fuel load". The definition given above follows the International Standards Organization convention. Fuel load is thus released to express the quantity of fuel in a fire area
