Fire Service Uk 32 : Scotland: With effect from 1 April 2013, there is a single Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, with its headquarters located in Perth. Between May 1975 and March 2013, the Scottish brigades were broadly based on the system of local government regions in use from 1975 to 1996. With two exceptions, fire authorities were (until 2013) joint boards responsible for groups of Council Areas. Brigade (1975-2013) Council Areas (if different from brigade name).
