Fire Water Demand


Fire Water Demand : The total fire water demand needed in a fire area to fight the largest fire that may be reasonably expected. This demand should include water needed both by automatic suppression systems and by manually operated lines. The demand should include both volume and pressure requirements (e.g., 95 l/s at 6 bar/1500 gpm at 85 psig). Fire Brigade: An organized group of employees, who are knowledgeable, trained, and skilled in fire-fighting operations as described in their site emergency action plan
