Fireball 7 : The burning of a flammable gas or vapour cloud, the bulk of which is initially over-rich (ie above the Upper Flammable Limit). The buoyancy of the hot combustion products may lift the cloud from the ground, forming a mushroomshaped cloud. Combustion rates are high and the hazard is primarily due to thermal effects
