Firestorm 6

Firestorm 6 : The severe meteorological conditions resulting from an intense surface heating as a result of extensive and vigorous stationary fires. Firestorms develop a swirling cyclonic inflow of air that limits entrainment and lofts smoke to great heights. They have been observed to occur after intense incendiary bombing in Hamburg and Dresden and may have occurred after the nuclear explosion in Hiroshima
